  4.     As I read the story about Isaac Asimov, who has written 403
  5. books (PROFILE, Dec. 19), I was reminded of one American whose
  6. output exceeds that of Asimov. Cotton Mather, the foremost
  7. intellectual leader of New England in his day, wrote more than 450
  8. books.

  13.     I find that Asimov has reversed two of the major premises of
  14. New Age thinking. Rather than being a "throwback" to the past, New
  15. Age thought is the evolution of man's awareness and connection with
  16. the universal system. Far from living "in terror," New Age writers
  17. stress self-responsibility, which serves to reduce the anxiety of
  18. powerlessness.
